I’ve been humbled…
First of all, I want to applogize and ask forgiveness for practically abandoning VulcanYouth.com. Things in my life have been crazy over the past month or so and I have neglected VulcanYouth as a result. Through the lack of VulcanYouth.com devos for you guys, I’ve also neglected at times my own personal devotions and this has honestly left me feeling somewhat defeated and burnt out.
I read Ephesians 4:2 today and combined with a short encouraging email from “Tigger” I have been stired somewhat to start posting devotions again. Ephesians 4:2 says “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” (NIV) The past few days I have wanted to post a devotional. In fact there has been a few times that I have sat down to type one only to be interrupted by frozen pipes, work or some family requirement.
I know that the evil one does not want me to post devotions as they may at some point offer light, hope and truth to someone out there in cyberspace. The truth is, I have given in and given up too easily. For this I ask that you will forgive me as I have indeed been humbled by my lack of effort and committment to God in this regard. Please be patient with me as well.
I know that God has some awesome things in store for us in 2008, and if we all will just set aside some special time for Him each day, He will bless us as He has promised.
